    Pros +

    • Spacious, clean, modern room
    • Loved the onsen, kids play area, complimentary snack and cocktail hour, and buffet options! Wonderful staff and very welcoming. Such a family friendly place! Beautiful scenery all around. Nice roadside attractions nearby. Warm fun/ theme park down the road was nice! Cool animals!
    • My daughter absolutely loved the two play areas! The onsen was really lovely- big space. If you have a car, the location is great and close to many attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

    Cons -

    • Couldn’t adjust the thermostat
    • This is definitely a hotel you need to travel by car. Too remote from the nearest train station, buses run sparcely ( beginning of the day and end of the day), there is no hotel shuttle to the shinkansen station, taxis stop running after 7PM, no Kombini/ seven eleven nearby. Taxis run ¥7000-8000 to and from the shinkansen station. Buses take an hour to get here. Very important to drive here. Food options are limited when walking by foot, and many food places only are open until 3:30pm-5PM. There is a on-site food truck with limited hours. Good luck getting a cup of tea/coffee after 10:15AM-3PM. Bring snacks, and a car.
    • My family found that the futons in the tatami room were not comfortable. Also, you cannot regulate the temperature of your room by yourself and it got very warm at night. There was a big line for breakfast each morning and the food was the same each day we were there. We were glad to have breakfast provided, but don't believe it to be worth the price.

Spacious and clean room. Good mountain view. Suitable for family with young kids. Staff are friendly and pleasant. Highly recommend.

A bit congested during meal time.

    7DanielPosted on: 2-13-2025

The kids play area is good for toddlers and infants.

The food was below average, both my wife and I had food borne illness. It was quite obvious they used leftovers from the day before again the next morning. If you stay, I don't recommend eating there. Other than that the hotel is value for money.

Useally we dont eat so much havy meal in the morning BUT its so surperise me only buffet breakfast is avilable in the hotel. I wish to have light meal or cup of coffee but i could not get place to drink for a cup of coffee it is very very sad and i feel very bad...Managements should think...

Absolutely love how child-friendly the hotel is. My children (3&1) loved the baby room with the toy kitchen, and the floor we were on had a small play space by the elevator, the wonderful play area inside and outside is fantastic and the buffet included children’s food & baby food. Just spectacular! My eldest experienced onsen for the first time and it was so spacious and easy for him to get around, he loved it! Me and hubby also loved the lounge evening drinks & snacks (which included sweets for the children - amazing)Thank you to the staff who spoke English for my check in!

Only 3 advantage of this hotel are :1. Free night cup hour ., free alcohol and snacks .2. The public spa big enough 3. family with kids you can come to have a visitOther than those are poor. Gorgeous on the outside , poor in the inside. So I marked as this.If you are looking for a place to relax and have a good sleep you SHOULD NOT COME HERE

I book the Japan style room in 6floor; the evaluator are only three of them but from 1-13F; not enough at all ; need long wait.Worse of all is you basically can hear EVERYTHING from your neighbors; poor sound proof; even the floor can feel oblivious on the Vibrating sounds made by thousands kid and their parents; If you are looking for a place to relax and have a good sleep you SHOULD NOT COME HERE

    7Ted J. C.Posted on: 12-28-2024

Complimentary drinks and onsen are highlight of this hotel (at least for us)

Rooms are pretty old especially the carpets so set your expectations.

    5Anusuya d.Posted on: 12-28-2024

Indoor and outdoor children play area

The carpet area in the room was dirty, felt like not very clean room for the money they charge

    7MohdPosted on: 12-25-2024

Good place for family with small kids.

May need some refurbishment. Smells like an old building

    8KarstenPosted on: 12-2-2024

Great place for children. The children rooms are decorated well and our 2yr old loved to play with the toy kitchen in the room, the safari toys at the elevator of the 4th floor, the indoor as well as the outdoor playground. A real paradise for small children.Additionally, there are lots of great attractions for children in the closer area such as the Safari Park or the Nasu Rindoko Park. The hot bath incl. sauna was great for the grown-ups to relax after the little ones were asleep. If your children are a little older, they can also join.

Breakfast and dinner was very crowded and both nights the buffet was exactly the same. A little bit of variation would be great.

It is a great place for family with small children. The outdoor and indoor playrooms are spacious, and clean. Kids had a lot of fun. We also loved welcome drinks with some sweets.

The food was good, but because we had a long stay, we were tired of the same food every day. There are not many restaurants nearby, and the majority of them closes early.

    8StevenPosted on: 6-15-2024

Very spacious room with good large double bed. Very nice staff. The welcome drink & snacks between 3 and 5 are super. The shuttle to and from the Nasushiobara train station is a plus. The buffet restaurant with all-you-can-drink is good, but the menu on both evenings was almost fully identical. The natural onsen.

The public transport around the hotel is very poor. You really need a car to get the best out of a stay here. There are very few options if you don't want to eat in the hotel's buffet restaurant.

    8WingPosted on: 6-13-2024

Onsen was nice but dont expect great views. Nice touch to have a wine/drink bar outside the onsen area, Good to have a round of conplimentary drinks and snacks.

Its located near farms and other resorts. Dont expect amenities available outside the resort after dark,

    7ChayPosted on: 5-28-2024

    Night cap & big bath

We booked a room for 3, which comes with futon for the 3rd person. We were surprised to be told that we, the guests, are expected to lay our own futon instead of the hotel staff doing it for us! This is our first time staying in a hotel/ryokan in Japan where we are told to do that!

    Neat and clean wonderful atmosphere

Drink bar should have been open in the morning also

Keeps you dry from the rain

Gosh were do I start 1. It is built in probably the 60’s or 70’s and even then the absolute cheapest possible materials .2 . No way on Gods earth this is even a two star.3 . One towel for two people .4. No tea or coffee in the room or anywhere .5. Check in 40 min and only 3 people being served .6. So noisy the walls are like paper thin and falling apart . 7. The food is horrendous nothing like the pictures or in reality and cold .8. The rooms is nothing like the pictures .9. One pillow each .10. No room service .11. Nothing in mini bar .

    10VanPosted on: 10-23-2023

The staff is very friendly and they catered to our needs. The hotel's facilities are excellent and it's perfect for families with kids. I really appreciated the welcome drink in the bar, freely opened everyday between 2-6pm with candies, snack, beer and wine.
